Our History/Roots

 

 

Bivvo Market is a family-owned business that has been around for over 25 years. We believe in the importance of organic farming and providing top-quality products with nutritional value, so we take every step possible to make sure our customers get only the best of the best.

 

Bivvo was originally founded by three friends who might as well be brothers with how close they are to each other. As children, these three friends did everything together; they played with stones, watched the sunset, observed how plants grew and ate amazing food together. Now, as adults, they wish to share all they have learned with the world.

 

Pampa, Lima, and Pomabamba dreamt of creating something that would represent their Peruvian roots while also being inherently healthy. They believe in incorporating the nutritional knowledge their forefathers had left them into a product that would symbolize the healthy lifestyle promoted in Peruvian culture. Bivvo’s robust background in food engineering has allowed these three friends to achieve their lifelong dream!

Bivvo Market aims to answer our calling for providing people with high quality and nutrient-rich foods that are ethically sourced directly from sustainable organic farming. We work closely alongside our small associated farmers who harvest 100% Peruvian Inca Superfoods by hand, following the ancient Peruvian tradition, as was done 7000 years ago by their ancestors!
